Towards a Liberatory Global: Global Indigeneity

The Carolina Seminars event series returns in the spring 2024 semester for more exciting presentations and group discussions surrounding decoloniality and liberation.

The theme of this year’s series is “Towards a Liberatory Global: Building anti-racist, feminist, and decolonial understandings for the global.” Events explore decolonial theories and methods in different parts of the world.

On April 15, 2024 from 12:00-1:30 PM in GEC 4003, a panel of speakers from UNC’s Working Group on Global Indigeneity and American Indian Studies will conduct a discussion centering on Global Indigeneity.

Panelists will include Dr. Ruth Matamoros-Mercado, Dr. Yurika Tamura, Dr. Rudi Colleredo-Mansfeld, and Dr. Daniel Cobb.
