The curriculum in Global Studies is excited to present to you the incredible range and depth of events we hosted and supported in Spring 2011.

	War Stories: A Semester Long Speaker Series Featuring Jon Lee Anderson and Helene Cooper Leading New Yorker and New York Times journalists recounted their experiences in war-torn regions across the globe.
	Heels in the Field: A Global Health Discussion Series Featuring Annelies Van Rie, Jamie Bartram, and Rick Mumford UNC leaders and experts in global health discussed critical issues, controversies and innovative solutions in international health challenges.
	The Global Big Screen Budrus The Global Big Screen launched with the screening of Budrus, an award-winning feature documentary about a Palestinian community organizer who seeks to save his village from destruction.
	Sponsored Events Read about the other thrilling events the curriculum in Global Studies has had the opportunity to help bring to the UNC-Chapel Hill campus.
