Professor Steve O. Roberts speaks on “Children’s Concepts of Race”
Steven O. Roberts is currently a Ph.D. Candidate in the University of Michigan’s Developmental Psychology Program. His work examines the development of social group concepts in childhood and how they guide the perception of others. Mr. Roberts explores beliefs about race and multiracial individuals, how concepts of group norms contribute to social cognition, and the implications of cognitive biases for social outcomes.
