Hanes Visiting Artist Lecture: “Seeing the Unseeable” by Bo Jacobs

Nuclear Historian Bo Jacobs (Hiroshima City University and the Hiroshima Peace Institute) will be speaking about the current Allcott Gallery exhibition, Nuclear Visions, the stories that have shaped our understandings of nuclear technologies since 1945 and how those stories have changed since the Cold War. Along the way, Jacobs will examine how these stories have guided our artistic responses and the historical role of art in activism aimed at denuclearizing our world.
