Global Studies Student Association (GSSA)
The Global Studies Student Association (GSSA) was launched in Fall 2017 as a means of providing engagement and leadership opportunities to declared Global Studies majors specifically while simultaneously dedicated to offering globally oriented events, activities, and experiences to our campus.
As one of the largest majors in the College of Arts & Sciences, Global Studies students are dynamic leaders across this campus but, due to the nature of our curriculum, students often lack opportunities to engage and collaborate with fellow majors. The GSSA exists to fill that void, providing students with a greater opportunity to understand the diversity within Global Studies and the various ways in which those different interests, abilities, and insight can & do manifest themselves in an evolving and inter-connected world.
GSSA Mission Statement: Fostering dialogue, community, collaboration, and service among Global Studies majors as a means of putting our globally oriented learning and interests into practice on campus and beyond.
