Job Description – Assisting the director of Diversity Research, Assessment and Analytics at DMA in the process of reviewing, analyzing and summarizing UNC’s diversity and inclusion data to generate UNC’s annual diversity plan report. During this process, coding qualitative data to quantify key points is a crucial part of the project.

Qualifications – Master or Ph. D. Student should be knowledgeable of research methods, possess excellent writing skills, and have experience working on quantitative and qualitative data.

Requirements

  •      Familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel
  •      Excellent organizational skills
  •      Detail oriented approach to work
  •      A team player who can meet deadlines

Diversity and Multicultural Affairs (DMA) is a unit in the Division of Workforce Strategy, Equity, and Engagement and serves as the diversity arm of the University. DMA is led by Associate Vice Chancellor & Chief Diversity Officer Taffye Benson Clayton and has the responsibility of providing university-wide leadership in building and sustaining an inclusive campus community that values and respects all members of the university community and beyond.
