Unity Around the World: International Festival in Raleigh

Promote diversity in your community and awareness of other cultures at the 2023 Unity Around the World festival, presented by the Wake County Extension and Community Association.

This International Festival brings together the diverse community of Research Triangle Park in one place! Attendees have the opportunity to try different food dishes from each country, view artifacts, traditional attire, music, and more!

Participating countries:

• Africa (Nigeria)
• Asia
• Europe
• North America
• South America (Uruguay)

Prizes will be awarded to the best participating clubs.

This event is free to attend!

4-H members will compete in the Wake County 4-H Unity Around the World Poster Contest:

Submit a poster entry as an individual member or as an entire club.

Design a poster that connects the four Hs – head, heart, hands and health – to the theme of the festival, Unity Around the World. Use creativity to visualize the theme of the event through a 4-H point of view.

Poster entries will be displayed at the festival, and the winning poster will be recognized.
