TransAtlantic Masters Fall Alumni Panel

UNC-Chapel Hill TransAtlantic Masters

Please join TransAtlantic Masters (TAM) students, administrators, faculty and graduates for an event on Friday, October 30th at 4pm on the fourth floor of the FedEx Global
Education Center. Four TAM graduates will return to campus to discuss their TAM experiences and career paths. A question and answer session will follow. This type of gathering provides a wonderfully comprehensive way to learn more about TAM and where it can take you.  Refreshments will be served.

Kevin Chandler
Kevin is a 2009 TAM graduate working as Public Affairs Manager for Apex Clean Energy, a nationwide renewable energy developer headquartered in Charlottesville, VA. Previously he worked for the National Audubon Society and a North Carolina government relations firm. He received a BA from UNC’s School of Journalism and Mass Communication in 2007. As a TAM student he studied in Prague and Bath.
Kimmy Davis
Kimmy studied in Amsterdam as a TAM student and completed her thesis on a comparison of water governance structures in Louisiana and the Netherlands. After graduation in 2011, Kimmy worked as a management consultant for ScottMadden, Inc., a mid-size consulting firm that specializes in the energy industry and utility clients. After some focused projects in IT support and regulatory controls, Kimmy took a job with Carlisle and Gallagher Consulting Group, which focuses on IT implementations and clients within the financial sector.   
David Kopsch 
David is a multicultural, global compensation & benefits leader and non-profit leadership development adviser. David earned his TransAtlantic Master’s degree spending time at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill and Universidad Carlos III in Madrid Spain. Some of his experiences since 2001 include economic development, small business counseling, retail-wholesale procurement, entrepreneurship, compensation & benefits, talent mobility and employee development. David is a recognized strategist of non-profit organizational development. For his ALPFA achievements, David was awarded Outstanding Service to ALPFA in 2013. An avid reader and learner, his recommendations include The Alchemist, The Tipping Point, Give And Take and The Second World.
Starr Stepp
Starr studied in Prague and Madrid and graduated from TAM in 2007. While in the program, she interned for the Multicultural Centre and with Civic Concepts International in Prague. After her Specialist Module in Madrid, Starr was a State Department intern in Athens, Greece. After TAM graduation, she became a Presidential Management Fellow and now works as a public affairs specialist for the Department of Justice’s Office of Justice Programs.
