Princeton in Asia Information Session
October 17, 2017 @ 4:30 pm - 5:00 pm
Interested in teaching on the coast of Thailand, studying environmental conservation in Sri Lanka, reporting for a leading newspaper in Hong Kong, or working on local economic development in Mongolia? Then step out of the country, out of your comfort zone, and out of the cubicle and apply to Princeton in Asia. Join PiA alumni, Samantha Luu (PiA China ’14) and Priya Sadago (PiA Thailand ’16), to learn about the PiA experience and more about our application and community.
Princeton in Asia (PiA) fosters mutual appreciation and cultural understanding by connecting service-minded graduates and partner organizations in Asia through immersive work experiences that transform perspectives, cultivate long-lasting relationships and benefit local and global communities. For the 2018-2019 academic year, PiA expects to offer 135 yearlong fellowships in 21 Asian countries and regions in the fields of access to education, environmental sustainability, public health, economic development, social justice and access to information.
PiA is open to graduates of all colleges and universities and requires no prior Asian experience or language skills. The application is due November 9th, and can be found here: http://piaweb.princeton.edu/apply-to-pia. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions about PiA.
