Opening Reception: 2016 Carolina Global Photography Exhibition

Come celebrate the opening reception for the 16th annual Carolina Global Photography Exhibition on Feb. 10, 2016, beginning at 5:30 p.m. in the FedEx Global Education Center at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Winners of UNC’s annual Carolina Global Photography Competition will be recognized and honored at the reception. Programming will conclude with an exhibition scavenger hunt in the FedEx Global Education Center. Participants will learn more about the photos in the exhibition as well as permanent art on display in the FedEx Global Education Center. Services offered by units with in the building will also be highlighted through the hunt. In addition to smaller prizes located throughout the hunt, a grand prize will be award to the scavenger hunt winner.
Please join us for an evening to view photography from around the world, featuring work exclusively by UNC alumni, faculty, staff and students.

The 2016 Carolina Global Photography Exhibition will run through April 1, 2016, at the FedEx Global Education Center. All photography on display was submitted as part of UNC’s annual Carolina Global Photography Competition. Photographs have been selected for first, second and third place as well as thematic honorable mentions. In addition, this year each area studies center and departmental unit housed in the FedEx Global Education Center selected a photo representing their mission, vision, academic focus and/or world area.
