Information Session Webinar: India Summer School for Future International Development Leaders

This summer, gain project management skills as a consulting intern for a NGO and hands-on field work experience while participating in a one-of-a-kind experiential learning program: The India Summer School for Future International Development Leaders.
This graduate-level program, run by the Sanford School of Public Policy at Duke University, provides students with an intensive six-week summer internship (option to extend internship) and international development course. Participants work collaboratively with community stakeholders, program faculty, graduate students from universities in India, and development professionals from India to develop a project proposal for a local NGO. The program, based in Udaipur, emphasizes the importance of community-driven development and effectively incorporates theory and analysis to further students’ learning outcomes. Internship focus areas include: education, migrant rights, public health, women’s rights, the environment, and more.
