Hosted by a Peace Corps Humanitarian Mapping Intern, alongisde UNC Geographic Information Services (GIS), this Humanitarian Mapathon is a great introduction to the OpenStreetMap project, and what it means to be a humanitarian mapper. Working on current Peace Corps projects happening across the world, the Humanitarian Mapathon is a great way to learn how to map on OSM, and how to get involved in humanitarian efforts based in different countries from right here in Chapel Hill. All you need is a laptop! Come out to learn more about OSM and how you can make a difference in the work of the Peace Corps!
