Horace Williams Airport: Flight in Chapel Hill since 1928

Our mission is to create a group of aviation enthusiasts and those who want to be pilots. We want to create a support base for the local Horace Williams Airport that the university has been trying to close for more than 20 years. We believe that restrengthening the connection between students, the airport, and the pilots that fly there can re-inject some life into the airport.The next event is on March 1, 7 PM in the Student Union room 3411. We will be discussing Horace Williams Airport in particular, explaining its history and significance. In addition, there is a high chance that pilots will speak there.
