Carolina Nilsen, ‘German-Norwegian Romance, Marriage and Childbirth: Sexual Relations Under the Strain of Occupation’

Caroline Nilsen is a doctoral candidate at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She has just returned from 18 months of research in Germany and Norway, and is in the early stages of writing her dissertation, entitled Children of Shame: The Contested Legacy of the SS Lebensborn Program, 1940-Present.
