Africa Today: Voices from Rwanda, Zimbabwe, and Nigeria

This series, facilitated by local NGO International Focus, focuses on local leaders and their impact on our community and internationally. In addition, we invite alumni who visited our area and who are interested in sharing their experiences in a variety of subjects (art, diplomacy, business, media, politics, environment, international relations, etc.) and thoughts about a particular theme. In this edition our alumni will tell us about their trajectories and work since their visit to North Carolina. Through an interdisciplinary approach, our esteemed guests will also discuss topics related to contemporary Africa such as the environment to local developments in their respective countries.

Simon Patrick Obi- Founder and Executive Director for GreenLight Initiative (Abuja, Nigeria) 

Trust Madhovi- Chief Executive Officer of Goromonzi Rural District Council (Ruwa, Zimbabwe)
